Schiltach is worth a visit !! And then an overnight stay and a meal in the Rössle - absolutely fits. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hosts are very courteous. The food recommended. This also applies to breakfast. I can only recommend.

Amazing stay in Schiltach! Wonderful hosts, lovely room and great food. Highly recommend you stay for dinner as was a real Black Forest highlight. The town is beautiful too and Rose provided great tips on what to do in and around the town.

Nice hotel and restaurant in the typical upscale Black Forest style. Very friendly and informative service is rounded off with top quality food and drink. We stayed one night in Schiltach - to look, feast, hike and relax - that worked out really well.

A solid house. The operators are very concerned about the welfare of (international) guests. The rooms are in good condition and hygienic. Both the breakfast (included in the room rate) and the a la carte dinner are of good quality.

Perfect for one or two nights, it's very clean and you are valued as a guest. The furnishings are a bit older but absolutely well-kept, price / performance ratio is good, the furnishings are maintained with love and quality. A friendly couple who are only satisfied when the guest is satisfied. We also ate in the hotel's own restaurant, which we can recommend without reservation. Don't forget to take a stroll through the historic old town during your stay. We say THANK YOU! and would come again.

We can absolutely recommend this cute hotel. The rooms (as is everything else) are very clean, lovely & traditionally decorated. The owners run the place and were super friendly. (and speak English) Schiltach itself is a dreamy little place. Will absolutely come back again.

Standard room with TV, minibar, enough to sleep in the area. Breakfast average ... Mrs who welcomed us can speak English. Although she guessed us madari, but it did not matter 😀. The Star of the Ride at a price that is quite high in the room rate ...

Rose is the perfect hostess and Schiltach is picturesque with lots of historic buildings. The rooms were very nice and the amazing hospitality made us sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Fantastric stay here on our road trip through black forest and alps. My wife and I actually took 2 single rooms bc they were sold put of doubles, but did this bc we wanted to eat here. The food was great, the couple who run it are wonderful, authentic and really brought the spirit and food of the black forest to life. Great find!!!
